Meet the CPR with Kat Family
Kat Neill- Northern California Instructor
Hi, I’m Kat—owner and founder of CPR With Kat.
With over a decade of experience teaching CPR, First Aid, AED, and Basic Life Support (BLS), I started this company out of a deep commitment to community safety and hands-on education.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development and a master’s in Social Problems and Social Policy—both of which fuel my passion for empowering people with life-saving skills.
My journey began in 2009 while working in Tucson, Arizona, where CPR certification was part of my job. I had to use those skills when a client began choking—a moment that changed everything for me. After moving to the Bay Area, I became certified to teach CPR and began training others. What started as teaching new hires quickly grew into a passion and a business.
Today, I’m married with three children, and what began as a company of one has grown into a true family business. My sister has joined the team and now teaches classes in Southern California, based in Santa Barbara.
CPR With Kat offers certification courses, along with prenatal and postnatal safety classes to help families feel prepared for emergencies—especially when bringing a new baby home. I remember wishing for that kind of support during my own pregnancies, and I’m proud to now offer it to others.
From corporate teams and healthcare professionals to parents and scout troops, I teach people how to respond confidently in emergencies. Whether you're earning a certification or simply want peace of mind, you're taking an important step—and I’m honored to be part of it.
Stephanie Guglielmo- Southern California Instructor
Hi, I’m Stephanie, the newest instructor at CPR With Kat.
Helping others has always been a big part of who I am. My journey began in high school when I volunteered for our community’s Teen Help Hotline. That early experience showed me the power of being present in someone’s moment of need, and it set the course for my career. Since then, I’ve worked as an elementary school teacher and an ABA therapist, always driven by a desire to make a positive impact.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and received my teaching credential from Antioch University. I now live in beautiful Santa Barbara with my 10-year-old daughter, Olivia, who inspires me every day.
I’m thrilled to be part of this family business and to work alongside a team that shares my passion for empowering others. Teaching CPR gives me the opportunity to help people gain the confidence and skills they need to save lives—and I can’t wait to share that knowledge with you.
